About

We are very pleased to announce this year’s postgraduate conference, in affiliation with the British Association of Romantic Studies (BARS) and The Byron Journal.  The conference is held annually at Keele University and Edge Hill University, in alternation.  It is an opportunity for postgraduate and undergraduate students who are interested in Byron and Romanticism studies to meet, present and share their research in a warm, convivial environment.  We welcome papers on the topic of Byron, or of Romanticism more generally.

This year the conference will take place in the Old Library in Keele Hall, Keele University on 30th September 2016.

Deadline for Abstracts: 27th May 2016 – we aim to notify successful applicants by the end of June.

The conference is held over a single day and is free to attend.

Selected papers will be considered for a special edition of Keele’s postgraduate journal, Under Construction @ Keele

Please contact us if you have any queries, or are interested in contributing to our conference blog.

We look forward to seeing many of you there!
